Sponsor a Hospice / Senior Animal
We have a very special place in our hearts for seniors, and animals that are terminally ill. With your help, we are determined to provide everything they need in order to make their last days their best days. By sponsoring one of our hospice/senior dogs with a monthly donation you can help us do just that.

Laura
Laura is 10 years old and requires ongoing costly medical care and medications for debilitating arthritis and allergies. She is lucky enough to have the most loving foster mom who, with our help, provides everything that Laura needs to keep her comfortable. Laura was rescued when she was very pregnant and had just been found in Philly with a belt tightly wrapped around her neck affixed to a pole. Sadly, she had been bred repeatedly and our vet believes she was kept in a small crate or enclosed area for an extended period resulting in issues with her legs that have undoubtedly contributed to her current medical situation.

Zae
Zae, aka Zae Bear, is a 12 year old pitbull who suffers from extreme anxiety. Due to his anxiety from his former life, Zae is highly reactive around other animals and remains as a sanctuary dog. Our big baby came into our lives in 2022 at the age of 10, when he was being rehomed due to no fault of his own and would have been surrendered to a kill shelter if we had no stepped in to save his life. Zae health is slowly declining due to age, but we won’t give up on Zae. He will continue to receive the best medical care we can possibly give because he deserves it. Please consider becoming an angel donor for Zae Bear.

Nicky
When we first became aware of Nicky in 2019, he had already spent 4 years in hell, warehoused by another “rescue”, Road To Home "Rescue." He was kept in a crate along with 110 other dogs in a warehouse in horrific conditions in Ithaca, NY. A video was released showing the truth.
Nicky spun in his crate, sat in his own excrement, and slowly broke down over the 1,416 days he was imprisoned. Nicky was the first dog to leave because we couldn’t look away and not do anything. The volunteer who helped us with transporting him told us when she parked in the parking and got out of her car the smell of feces and urine coming from the warehouse was so strong she began uncontrollably puking.
He is now safe with Zion’s Mission and remains as one of our sanctuary dogs. Nicky’s capacity to recover, heal, and trust humans again always leaves us in awe. He is such a good boy. Please consider becoming a monthly sponsor for our Nicky, aka Mr. Nickels, who experienced too much suffering in his life.

Justin Timbermeow
Justin was rescued from a fence in Breezy Point, Queens NY one evening when a group of kids saw that he looked disoriented. Our senior boy, who is roughly 13 years old, was brought to our vets and we discovered that he was misidentified as feral and was FIV+, anemic, and had suffered greatly in the concrete jungle known as New York City. Due to his age and health issues, Justin is considered a hospice cat, a diagnosis he wouldn’t have if he was taken inside prior to us rescuing him. He is safe with us and will continue to receive the best medical care we can give him while he lives out the rest of his life in comfort. Please consider becoming an angel donor for Mr. Timbermeow.
